Getting your test results
We will contact you by text, email, telephone or by letter, only if a result is abnormal and you require treatment or further investigations.
You will not be contacted if your result is normal.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- phone or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are
The administrative staff will give results to you or you may be asked to speak to the nurse or doctor.
Questions about your results
If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our test results request form and someone will be in touch.
Pathology samples
If the doctor or nurse has asked you to provide a pathology sample e.g. urine, stool, sputum, these must be left at reception before 11am, Monday – Friday.
